Paint protection film is a clear, self-healing urethane layer applied over factory paint. Rock chips, sand blast and bug etching stop at the film; the paint underneath stays new.

How the appointment goes
We wash and decontaminate the paint, correct any defects that would show through, then lay computer-cut or bulk film with edges wrapped where the panel allows. Plan on one to three days depending on coverage. Keep it dry for a few days afterward while the film fully bonds.

- Will I be able to see the film?
- Not from a normal viewing distance. Edges are wrapped or tucked wherever the panel allows, and the film is optically clear. On a matte-finish film the look changes deliberately.
- How long does paint protection film last?
- Quality film is rated for years of service, and the self-healing top coat keeps light swirls from accumulating. We go over the specific film and its manufacturer warranty at your consult.
- Can I ceramic coat over the film?
- Yes — and we recommend it. A coating on top of the film keeps it hydrophobic and easy to wash.
